She; A Blueprint

She; A Blueprint was a collaboration between Michelle Naka Pierce, Sue Hammond West, and Marc Devine.  The multi-media element of the piece explored voice as object embodying space, by distorting, layering, and throwing the sound of the poetic author, Michelle Naka Pierce, speaking her text, throughout the space.  The naked, exposed sculptural design of both speakers and wiring spatially responded to the visual placement and tone of the paintings of Sue Hammond West.

Orestes

Orestes' interactive video design incorporated video as both character-object and setting, where-in the design elements served functionally to light the set, to change the setting itself, and to perform as character along side the live performer within the space.
